When I decided to make a trip around the world Hawaii in 1974, Hawaii was my first stop.  I ended up spending about 8 months there. Budget rent-a-car gave me a job, my office was next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki, sometimes I would work in the lobby. We go back to Hawaii about once a year, now probably over 30-40 trips. I will never forget all the wonderful people I met there and some were very interesting  characters.
